Rick, Steve and I were fortunate enough to hear you, meet you and even have you autograph several CD's we bought while enjoying your show at the Spanish Galleon during SOS in North Myrtle Beach in April. We have listened to and enjoyed the CD's ever since. You are a true talent and we are delighted to be telling our friends back here in New Mexico about you! One thing I didn't find out is whether or not and when the interview you did with CNN will be aired. We'd love to see it. Keep making that great music and we'll keep up with you from a distance! Rick, after hearing your band's debut at Fat Harold's this past weekend, we followed thru on our promise to try to get you booked at TJ's Nightlife in Raleigh, NC., by telling owner Ray Hall about your "terrific, positive, danceable" sound. Then Ray called me Tuesday night and said that he had booked you for April 8th. Needless to say, we are looking forward to it. ALthough I had Something Smooth and other hits on compilations, we are really enjoying the Something Smooth and Island Soul CDs I picked up from you Saturday.

Was at a local shag club (Thirsty's II in Grbo, NC) and heard Something Smooth for the first time a couple nights ago and really can't listen to it enough now. I just happened upon your concert at Sandpiper this week and was totally blown away! I came home and told my husband that I had just seen one of the coolest and best musicians/ vocalists I've ever had the privilege of watching from a few feet away! He looked at me like I had gone nuts, especially since he knew where I was! Thank you thank you for this great experience. I'll never forget THIS new year's party! (Neither will my 90 year-old mother who was grinning from ear to ear after being pretty down for a long time.) You are an awesome guy and made a whole lot of people very happy! Bless you!

I remember the first time I heard Rick perform an orginal song back in the 70's.He was great then and just keeps getting better.
He is by far the most talented song writer,singer,vocal arranger and versatile musican I have ever known.
The only way Rick can not keep having hit songs is to stop writing and recording, and I don't see that happening any time soon.
